The people of the French region welcome their soldiers
After parading down the Champs-Élysées in the national parade in the morning, the units will be welcomed by elected representatives in an arrondissement of Paris or in a town in the French region, in the afternoon.
This event is the occasion for people to discover, in a convivial way, the men and women who defend territories today and to talk to them about their profession and missions.
On the programme: presentation of equipment, accounts of soldiers about their profession, activities and participation in interior and exterior operations.
Inhabitants of the Ile de France region will be able to see soldiers on parade at 8 different locations in Paris. The two most important are the Esplanade des Invalides (7th), Place de la Nation (11th, 12th and 20th) and at three sites in the immediate surrounding area of the French capital.
