16 February 2008.
Legend has it that one winter’s evening in 1985, two friends and rugby enthusiasts became so bored once the bad weather prevented them from playing rugby that they decided to ...
meet up with other friends on ice circuits in vehicles equipped for racing on icy ground. This was the origin of the idea for the Andros trophy.
Now the event is celebrating its 20th anniversary! To celebrate its 10th visit to Paris, the event is moving the mountains to the Stade de France. The organisers are announcing an exceptional line-up full of surprises.
Top skidding and sliding automobile champions like Alain Prost, Olivier Panis and Jean Philippe Dayraut will be present, cheered on by top Trophée Andros drivers – all invited for the occasion.
A highpoint of the Trophée Andros, is the series of frenetic Pilot Bike races. The spectacle will be a big affair both on the track and in the stands.
The ambience will be hot… but don’t forget to bring some warm clothing.
