Paris City Hall organizes in partnership with the town halls of the 3rd, 6th, 13th, 18th and 19th districts of Paris a giant treasure hunt called “PARIS TREASURE HUNT”...
This incredible and interactive adventure will be a funny and strange way to discover Paris through all its secrets and rare treasures.
The contestants will have one day to lose themselves completely in the stories and legends of Paris. Navigating in the maze of Paris streets, the treasure hunters will have to ask mysterious Paris characters for clues.
» When? Saturday 5th July – Departures from 10 am to 1 pm in front of the five town halls.
» In each district, an enigma in English is dedicated to foreign visitors.
» More than 15 000 participants are expected.
Enrol at www.tresorsdeparis.fr - The treasure hunt is free and open to all.

Description :
First clue: on 8 June a clue will be published on the website www.tresorsdeparis.fr. The first foreigners and those from other parts of France to solve it will win a night in a Parisian hotel on the day of the treasure hunt on 5 July. Parisians are not left out: there is also a clue for them and the first to solve it will win a dinner in a grand Parisian restaurant. Start: Saturday 5 July 2008 from 10am to 1pm in front of the town halls of the arrondissements. Entertainment and prize giving: from 3.30pm – 3rd arrondissement : town hall square. - 6th arrondissement : inner courtyard of the town hall. – 13th arrondissement : town hall square. -18th arrondissement : Arènes de Montmartre. -19th arrondissement : town hall square.
