QUARTIER SAINT-GERMAIN-DES-PRES
Description :
Located in the left bank side, the area of Saint Germain des Prés, named after one of the oldest Parisian churches, is one of the most emblematic places in Paris.
The village-like charming lanes and little plazas scattered with 17th century hotels particuliers and buildings became, by the 19th century, a centre for cultural and intellectual Parisian life. The Café de Flore, The Deux Magots or the Brasserie Lipp, which used to teem with famous post-war writers, journalists and artists, are still reminiscent of that time!
Nowadays, you’ll be able to find altogether art galeries, antique dealers, book houses, fashion designers and fashion shops...
