Nous n'irons pas à Avignon (We Won't Be Going To Avignon) came about in 1999 in response to two requirements: to offer an alternative to the Avignon fringe festival and to create a summer event in the Parisian suburbs.

Multidisciplinary forms and proposals are at the centre of the festival, which includes theatre, dance, music, young people, seminars and debates… So if you too are not going to Avignon, why not enjoy a cultural outing to Vitry-sur-Seine!
