Avenue des Champs-Elysées - 8e
From November 23 2011 to January 9 2012
Description :
New on the Champs-Elysées. After the success of ‘Snowfall’ (strings of light, simulating drops of light falling from the trees), which have illuminated the world’s most beautiful avenue for four Christmases, come ‘Tree rings’. As the Christmas illuminations on the Champs-Elysées are famous throughout the world, the members of the committee in charge of the conception of the lights has pulled out all the stops! The tree rings are luminous rings positioned around the avenue’s 200 trees. These installations will create a unique play of light with the aid of some 100 or so mirrors dotted around the branches of the trees. Reflections, waves of colour, synchronization of lights … The spectacle will measure up to the avenue’s reputation.
