Théâtre Zingaro has been putting on high-flying shows highlighting equine grace and beauty for more than 25 years. And in their new show, Calacas, horses do literally fly! This heart-stopping production takes the form of a macabre dance with skeletons and zombies making merry above the audience’s heads. A boisterous carnival follows to the sound of Chilean chinchineros, or drums with cymbals, a Mexican brass brand and barrel organs. Horses feature everywhere in the show – as transporters, messengers, guardian angels and chargers.
This unforgettable show is set to be a huge success and may well be extended – the previous Théâtre Zingaro show, Darshan, played for more than a year
