Once again, Paris Plages will be bringing a holiday atmosphere of family and soft sand to the capital this summer! Parisians and tourists can stroll along the riverbanks, comfortably settle into colourful deckchairs facing the Seine, enjoy a concert, watch a sporting event or sip the latest trendy cocktails in one of the many refreshment areas on the beach. The 2011 edition, as with previous years, reminds us that above all Paris Plages is a family event. For a month, water activities (pedalos, sailboats, rowing boats, etc.), outdoor activities (beach rugby, a swim in a floating poo!, etc.) and gentler activities (painting, reading, etc.) give holidaymakers plenty to choose from!
