Description :
As part of the bicentenary celebration of the birth of the composer, the Musée de la Vie Romantique is paying tribute to Frédéric Chopin (1810-1849). The exhibition contains around ninety paintings, sculptures and drawings by Chassériau, Clésinger, Corot, Courbet, Delacroix, Scheffer, etc, specifically designed for the house on rue Chaptal, frequently visited by Chopin as a neighbour and a friend. This tribute will look back on his Parisian years (1831-1849).
