Description :
De Vinis Illustribus, set up in 1994 by Lionel Michelin, is housed in what used to be Jean-Baptiste Besse’s legendary wine cellar. Widely acknowledged to be a leading authority on great wine, Besse, a famous wine merchant, would receive wine enthusiasts from all over the world in this cellar.

In a one-of-a-kind location devoted to wine where conviviality and good advice abound, De Vinis Illustribus offers:
> a large selection of old wines
> a selection of new wines
> all kinds of wine paraphernalia
as well as a wide range of services:
> wine tasting evenings
> building a wine collection

What’s more, from 1 June to 30 September 2009, De Vinis Illustribus will give you a bottle of personally selected wine free with any purchase over €60.
Wine tasting evenings:
Examples: The “Connoisseur” tasting session at €90 or the “Enthusiast” tasting session at €199.

> a wine tasting commentary by Lionel MICHELIN, the founder of De Vinis Illustribus
> wines at cost price (2 bottles of each wine)
