The “Paris Macadam - Les Acarvals” association is a movement of professional artists, civil society organisations and local residents which has sought for the past 10 years to federate Ile de France residents around an original and unique mission: that of using artistic creation to reveal the cultural identity of each district and restore the community spirit that has tended to disappear as our cities have developed. The association works towards its goals by organising cultural, touristic and festive events in urban spaces.

> Join us for lunch in a friendly, convivial atmosphere at Paris Macadam: Thursdays from 12.30 pm.

> Friday 15 May 2009: “Oups + Opus” show at the Théâtre de l’Etoile du Nord

> Thursday 28 May 2009: Visit to the Andy Warhol exhibition at the Grand Palais

> Saturday 6 June 2009 from 4 pm on: Paris Macadam is organising a parade on stilts in the Fontaine au Roi neighbourhood in the 11th arrondissement (from the Belleville metro to the Maison des Métallos).

> Saturday 13 June: “Discovery rally” to explore the La Chapelle district (18th) during the La Chapelle neighbourhood fete.

> Saturday 13 June, 13 July and 22 August: “Backstage at the cinema” walks starting from the Canal de l’Ourcq in Seine-Saint-Denis, co-organised with the CDT 93 (the Saint-Denis tourism committee).

> Saturday 27 June 2009: Participation in the parade on stilts during the Gay Pride procession in Paris.

> Saturday 4 July 2009: Parade on stilts during the Tropical Carnival parade in Paris.

> Monday 13 July 2009: Civic and cultural rally in the 18th arrondissement.
