The FNGI was founded in 1981 as a not for profit organisation, to represent and defend Tourist Guides in France and, particularly, to promote the profession.

The FNGI represents about 700 professional Tourist Guides, qualified regionally or nationally, working in 32 languages.

The FNGI is not a booking agency; guides should be contacted and booked directly. A list of our members, classified by region or language, is to be found on our website www.fngi.fr
