Situated on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, the Auteuil racecourse is considered as the leading French racecourse for steeplechase racing. It extends over 44 hectares.

The Auteuil racecourse is accessible by buses PC, 52 and 123. Inaugurated on November 10th 1873, it extends over 33 hectares and is situated at the edge of the Bois de Boulogne. It is made up of a track of hedges and two steeplechase race tracks for which it is most famous. 40,000 spectators (including 4,800 seated) may attend the races, the most famous of which include: the "Prix du P
