Explore the biggest cinema in Europe! Built in 1932 and registered as a listed building since 1981, the Grand Rex is a veritable legend in the history of cinema: from the first screening of Luc Besson’s Le Grand Bleu (The Big Blue) to cinematic events such as Harry Potter or Star Wars. Step into the universe of the silver screen and take a trip behind the scenes as far as the projection room!

The Etoiles du Rex: much more than a cinema, much more than a museum!!! The tour was redesigned in 2008 and new activities were added. Through an interactive, 50 minute long, unique show/tour, with an audio guide, go behind-the-scenes at the biggest cinema in Europe, built in 1932 on the Grands Boulevards in Paris.
Open Wednesday to Sunday and public holidays, from 10am to 7pm. During school holidays, open every day except Monday morning.

The Rex, one of the largest cinemas in Europe, has enjoyed ever-increasing popularity since its inauguration in 1932. A work of art and a popular monument, it has a magical link between fantasy and real life. The Rex has made it through the darkest moments in history unscathed. Its main auditorium which seats 2,650 spectators, sports a unique decor with a starry dome. In addition to cinema screenings, the venue also presents concerts, comedians, events and conventions.

The Etoiles du Rex: €9.80 - Reduced price €8 (under 12s and over 60s, students, large family card)
2 hour discovery visit (Etoiles du Rex and guided visit of Grand Rex): €15.50 - Reduced price €13.50 (under 16s/students), enquire for days.
