Visites Spectacles offers guided theatrical tours featuring artists and actors. The streets and squares of Paris serve as the natural background for a walk lasting 1hr30.
This is neither a guided tour nor a piece of theatre but both at the same time.
1) THE MYSTERY OF THE COVERED PASSAGES
You will discover the rich history of Paris's covered passages in an original way thanks to a new theatrical guided tour by our troupe of actors.
Your guide, Jean-Jacques de la Tour, informs you that he is preparing a thesis about Nathaniel de Cantaussel, who was apparently killed in the Jouffroy passage in 1870. This crime has never been solved.
2) THE SPIRIT OF MONTMARTRE
Discover legends and anecdotes about the Butte Montmartre in both a pedagogical and fun way through a theatrical guided tour led by a troupe of actors-magicians-acrobats-singers.
It all starts in Place du Calvaire, when your guide, Jean-Jacques de la Tour, takes a photo of his group of visitors-spectators and discovers a ghost: a woman is on the photo, but who is she? It will be necessary to go and meet characters from the Roaring 20s (a street urchin, a pickpocket-conjurer, or even the painter Amedeo Modigliani) to find the ‘Belle Gabrielle’.
For individuals, every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday of July and August in French and English. For groups, all season.

3/ THE SPY OF SAINT-GERMAIN-DES-PRES
From 5 May 2012, follow in the steps of Marel Karzek, nicknamed by some newspapers as The Spy of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Lila-Jane a ‘policewoman of the KGB’. From the Deux Magots to the Procope, you will take part in an exciting investigation taking unfamiliar paths on the trail of a not so distant past where the heart of Paris was filled with musical and literary nights. Bookings only in French on Saturday (in English from September 2012). Sunday according to availability.
PRICES AND TIMES
Adult rate: €25.
Reduced rate: €21 (student, unemployed, senior + 60 yrs).
Children (from 4 to 13 yrs): €15.
