Visit the Pigalle district where Edith Piaf began her career in poverty as a street singer, and see the famous Moulin Rouge where she performed. Then take the metro to the Belleville district where she was born to see where, by tradition, her mother gave birth to her on the street outside her house. We then walk to the Père Lachiase Cemetery where she is buried. The guide will weave in stories of her life and career, and the Paris and entertainment world of her day.
