Park-garden-walk

Municipal

This paved garden inaugurated in 1994 was set out above the Montparnasse TGV railway lines and is without doubt the most beautiful waiting room for travellers heading towards the Atlantic. The ocean, taken as a theme for the garden, is evoked in the undulating 'waves' of the lawn and benches, in the blue of the railings, the children's play area 'sea shore room', the masts of Bernard Vié and the long pontoon that crosses the garden to the east... The central promenade of this enclave is a 'short botanical guide', with on one side, the trees of Europe, and on the other, their American equivalents.
