The Devil Wears Prada

In the exclusive world of fashion, Miranda Priestly is unquestionably the reigning queen. In New York, her Runway magazine makes and breaks trends with each of its unchallengeable opinions. Tyrannical, ultra-glamorous, fascinating, Miranda strikes fear and trembling into all around her.

Andy Sachs is a bright young college graduate who has no great fashion sense and certainly doesn’t seem cut out for work in this tightly closed environment. And yet she lands the job that thousands of girls in New York would die for, becoming Miranda’s assistant.

Andy sees her new job as a stepping stone to an illustrious career in journalism. She thought the world of fashion would be all lightness and charm, but soon discovers that hell is perhaps right here on earth.
