Village Paris

Village ParisMontmartre, Sacré Cœur, Pigalle, Trinité

Experience all the charm of small Parisian neighbourhoods, from Montmartre to Batignolles: from Paris on high, roguish or romantic, to Paris with its church steeples, conjuring up provincial French villages.

Montmartre and its surrounding districts are certainly one of the most diverse parts of Paris. Crowds around Sacré-Cœur and the place du Tertre mingle with locals on café terraces in place des Abbesses, whilst those on the boulevards merge with shoppers MarketCre-coeurvisiting the bazaars and sex shops in Pigalle, beneath the impassive gaze of the Moulin de la Galette windmill. But venture a little further afield, towards the Trinité church or the Batignolles park, and you’ll be rewarded with the peace and tranquillity of the area’s charming backwaters: wonderful, little-known museums, a handful of renowned theatres and unexpected village squares beneath church steeples, far from the hum of the city. A stimulating experience, provided you let your senses be your guide…
