Training
School for guide dogs for the blind and partially-sighted
The School for Guide Dogs trains 40 dogs each year and prepares as many blind and partially-sighted people to become their owners. The team will explain all the different stages of the 6-month-long training period. You will have access to the nursery, the kennels, the dark room, a film and the leisure areas. A demonstration will give you a good idea “in situ” of how the dogs are trained.
