Copper and silver workshop

To discover the age-old techniques of working with copper and silver, first of all see an introductory film (English/French) on the subject of copperware, followed by a presentation about copper and its advantages in the world of gastronomy, rounding off with a tour of the workshop to see a “repousseur” at work and a silversmith, who will describe how the pieces are manufactured…

The Master Glazier, Monsieur Andrieux, talks about the skills and expertise developed by the artists-craftspeople who create, work and restore stained glass. Three main stages: painting on glass, leading and glass cutting…

Manufactures Nationales des Gobelins de Beauvais et de la Savonnerie (Carpet-making and tapestry)

Guided tour of the three workshops (Gobelins, Beauvais, Savonnerie) by official guides from the Centre des Monuments Nationaux with technical and historical explanations about the weaving trade. The craftspeople will talk about their expertise.
