Tréteaux nomades

End of August to the beginning of September 2017

. - 75 Paris

Description

For over 15 years, Tréteaux Nomades has marked the end of summer in Paris. This is a travelling festival that comes to the Arènes de Montmartre. Organised by the Compagnie du Mystère Bouffe, this festival presents a series of shows, including various types of performing arts, burlesque theatre, music, poetry and popular shows. The company brings back to the stage several great characters from the theatrical repertoire: D'Artagnan, Quasimodo, Cinderella, and so on.  The festival Tréteaux Nomades takes over some unusual venues in the French capital. The Arènes de Montmartre, Hôtel de Beauvais, Place Sainte-Marthe and La Bellevilloise, the Arènes de Lutèce and other quirky spots, indoor and out, make up the backdrop for the festival shows. Every year the festival attracts an ever-larger crowd of Parisians and visitors from further afield, who flock to enjoy the shows put on by this arts company. Don't miss the 18th edition this year in late summer.
