Located a short walk from Place de la Bastille in the heart of the 12th arrondissement, the Viaduc des Arts hosts...
the delicately crafted and imaginative creations of about 50 artists working in a variety of materials, from wood, glass, terracotta and fabric to copper, iron and leather.
Built in 1859 to carry a train line, the arches of the Viaduc des Arts were refurbished in 1990 and opened in 1994 as a long expanse of art galleries and craft boutiques where exhibitions and events are also held from time to time.
The Viaduc will be launching the “Carte Privilège Viaduc des Arts” card during the month of September. As its name indicates, the card gives you access to a number of privileges all year round.
