Every day, Paris seeks to improve the welcome it gives to disabled visitors to help them have a smooth and enjoyable stay in the French capital. The tourism sector is active in increasing the number of accessible restaurants.

Two levels of accessibility are presented here:

Some restaurants and pubs with the Tourisme & Handicap label... whom is a nationwide quality initiative and the only guarantee of complete accessibility; this label provides reliable and objective information on the accessibility of sites and tourism facilities by taking into account all types of disability: physical, visual, hearing or mental. These establishments have been inspected.

Other « adapted »restaurants and pubs that has not adhered to the voluntary Tourisme & Handicap initiative and which therefore does not necessarily meet all its criteria. These establishments have been visited.
