The restaurant of the Musée d'Orsay is a registered historic place in the modern ... the decoration by Jean-Michel Wilmotte. All furniture is made of contemporary materials. The aesthetic of clean lines and soft colors provide a harmonious contrast with the scene in 1900. The cuisine, the chef Yann Landureau teams and develop traditional French cuisine marked by contrasting flavors of light spice, with soft sweet-salty mixtures .... Setting / decor :

Hall filed with gilding, chandeliers, pictorial compositions by Gabriel Ferrier (1847-1914). A historic site inscribed in modernity, the new layout of workplaces, by Jean-Michel Wilmotte, sets the tone. A simple elegance that respects the magnificence of space punctuated by huge windows and illuminated by glittering crystal chandeliers. The gilding reveal a beautiful shine ceilings of the hall and sitting room painted by Gabriel Ferrier and Benjamin Constant. The style of Jean-Michel Wilmotte, architect of international renown gives the restaurant a new identity defined by a clear ambition: part of modernity.
