This famous brasserie on Place de Clichy (75018) turned 100 in 1992! Over more than 100 years, the little bistro has become the most well-known brasserie today: Picasso, Modigliani and Truffaut have all eaten here. With room for up to 100 people, open every day from 8am to 1am, they specialize in seafood platters: oysters (the star of the show) prawns, clams, whelk...it's all there! Among other house specialties, try the 'Reisling braized beef cheek with sautéed Spätzles', 'Steamed ray fish fillet with herby olive oil and fresh beans in ginger' and their 'paysanne sauerkraut'.
In 2006, Wepler was recognized for its culinary work and was awarded the 'Tables et Auberges de France' national title.
