Description

Since its opening in 1680, more than 1,000 authors and 2,600 pieces have been added to the repertoire at the Comédie-Française. The Salle Richlieu, a theatre built by architect Victor Louis on rue de Richelieu and opened in 1790, has an Italianate auditorium with some 860 seats. Several alternating productions are programmed here each week.
