Description

In the heart of the Marais area, between a courtyard and a garden, a fine private mansion presents an exceptional 18th century art collection: paintings by Boucher, Chardin and Fragonard, drawings by Watteau, sculptures and furniture, precious items (jewellery, snuff boxes, Dresden china, etc.). Atmosphere of a Parisian house of the 18th century.
Collections bequeathed to the City of Paris by Ernest Cognacq and his wife, Louise Jay, founders of the Samaritaine department store.
