Description

Discover one of the oldest maritime museums in the world: models of ships from the 17th century, naval paintings and artefacts, figurines and current themes.
The age and diversity of its collections (old and contemporary models of ships, full size collectors items, paintings, figurines, navigation equipment, etc.) makes it one of the most popular maritime museums in the world. There is a complete programme of activities on offer for all ages to complete your visit.
Everyone can discover the great history of the navy, from the epic era of the fabulous three mast ship to legendary liners.

-Physical impairment: museum partially adapted. Permanent collection galeries have ground level access but no disabled toilets. To access temporary exhibition spaces on level -1, ask a member of staff.
-Visual impairment: for partially-sighted visitors, booklets available at reception in large print.
-Audio impairment: welcome desks, tills and cloakroom all equipped with hearing loop. Audio guides for visitors with induction loop. Some multimedia features throughout the permanent collections are sub-titled in French.
