Famous prestige hotels

Bon6160 Attainable luxury

Fabulous decor, impeccable service, illustrious clientele… Parisian luxury hotels, or “palaces” as they are known, open the doors to dreams of luxury and refinement.

They are representative of a sophisticated Paris that translates its sense of excellence into a richness of architecture, often steeped in history and nostalgia. Countless international figures from political, artistic or sporting spheres come here at some time or another to sleep in one of these temples of elegance and good taste. Even if you cannot do the same (not yet), you can treat yourself to a glimpse over a brunch or afternoon tea… more laid-back, it is true, but best behaviour is de rigueur nonetheless!

Ritz Hotel

A memory that lingers…

Tz165_110 Its name alone is a tribute to elegance, to literature, and to Paris itself. Ernest Hemingway sang its praises and the spirit of the writer still lingers in the atmosphere. He has left behind him endless anecdotes not to mention a few cocktail recipes. “When I dream of afterlife in heaven, the action always takes place at the Ritz Paris” he was known to say. Coco Chanel took up residence at the hotel, Marcel Proust made his quarters there, as did Jean Cocteau, Scott Fitzgerald, Greta Garbo and these days, Woody Allen.
