 An 18th-century palace standing on the historical path from the Tuileries to the Arc de Triomphe. Glowing in the evening light, majestic and luminous even in wintertime, it was originally designed under Louis XV to receive ambassadors extraordinary. These days, the Elysée palace houses its official guests here and Hollywood its stars. The legendary “Leonard Bernstein” suite and its fabulous terrace has been immortalized in countless photographs, with the view over the obelisk, the Assemblée Nationale, the Tuileries gardens and… simply Paris.
News
In December 2011, the Hôtel Crillon was awarded Green Globe certification for sustainable development.
Guests now receive a booklet with suggestions on eco-labelled walks in the Paris region and a list of organic restaurants in the region.
