This hotel reopened in spring 2010 after major renovation work led by the architect-designer Denis Doistau. Located in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Près district, facing the church of the same name, this establishment now offers a subtle combination of design and top-of-the-range comfort while maintaining the family feel of the Maurice Hurand chain which it has been a part of for 25 years. The 52 guestrooms offer decor with pastel, red and black tones according to the floor they are on. The unique bathroom basins are made from sandstone and enamel in carmine, Izmir blue or citrus yellow colours. There is no doubt that the prestigious guests that once stayed here - André Malraux, Albert Camus, Edith Piaf, Jean Mermoz and even Boris Pasternak - would appreciate this new decor, if by chance they were to revisit!
