CHATEAU DE BRETEUIL

Once upon a time there was a fairy-tale castle in the heart of the Chevreuse valley… and this one really does exist. The gardens and outbuildings of the Château de Breteuil host seven animated playlets featuring the wonderful characters of Charles Perrault’s tales... Take the time to stroll through this exceptional site and discover Cinderella and her prince, Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb, Donkey Skin and other beloved fairy-tale characters along the way, not to mention the 20 richly-costumed Puss in Boots figures that dot the itinerary. A professional storyteller is at hand on Sunday afternoons and every day during the Paris region school holidays if you’d like to hear the imaginative tales of your childhood once again.
