There is a new and improved audio guide system at the Louvre in 2008: a multimedia device which includes new commentary and tips on planning an original tour that takes in all the works you are most interested in. Art experts comment on several hundred works in the course of short recorded radio interviews.

These itineraries make it possible for visitors to wander through the museum at will with the help of the interactive map displayed on the screen of the device and recorded suggestions.

The new multimedia guide is available in French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and French sign language and can be rented at the Denon, Sully and Richelieu entries for 2, 4 or 6 euros.
