Description :

Strengthening ties between Japan and France and spreading awareness of Japanese culture among the French are the two main aims of this institute, which organises festivals, exhibitions, calligraphy and manga drawing courses, etc.

Tous les mercredis : cérémonie du thé. Tarif unique : 8 euros. Tous les jeudis : cinéma japonais de 15h à 20h. 5 euros par séance. Les Samedis : cours de go de 14h30 à 18h30. Tarif : 8 euros. Les Mardis et Jeudis : cours d'Ikebana. Tarif : 23 euros. Atelier d'initiation à la culture japonaise : les 3èmes Mercredis de chaque mois de 17h à 18h. Tarif : 3euros.

Informations :

The purpose of the "Maison de la culture du Japon" (Japanese culture house) is to become a place illustrating the Japanese presence in France and Europe. Located near the Eiffel tower, it includes a cinema, a congress room, classrooms, an exhibition room, a library, an audiovisual area, a pavilion dedicated to tea tradition.

Closed from 12/25 to 01/03 inclusive each year.

Exhibition room : Tuesday to Saturday : 12am - 7pm. Thursday : 12am - 8pm.
Library-audiovisual area : Tuesday to Saturday : 1pm - 6pm. Thursday : 1pm - 8pm.
Main room : opening of the doors 30 minutes before the beginning of the shows.
