This Protestant church used to be the church of a Catholic monastery. It's a good example of this kind of churches, which number increased in Paris during the XVIIth century, because of the coming in the town of manycongregations at this age. These churches were built on new, original plans compared to the older churches, an example of which you can notice in the double ambulatory in the Oratoire.
