Informations :
The mineralogy collection of the Pierre and Marie Curie university (mineralogy and crystallography laboratory) displays 2,000 samples from all over the world, selected from among the most beautiful and important minerals in the earth sciences and those in use in industry and the arts. Their display, in 24 panoramic showcases, takes its inspiration from the Museum of the Crown Jewels of Iran. This collection, unique in France is classed as one of the most remarkable in the world. You access the new collections site by entering the university campus, and going to level -2, by the stairs or lift, then on your right straight ahead of the forecourt.
