This bucolic house has witnessed the passage of such famous personalities as Chopin, Delacroix and George Sand, whose works and personal objects can still be seen today. In the house of the painter Ary Scheffer built up in 1830, visitors will catch a glimpse at the artistic, literary and musical life of the romantic period. This museum, which has kept the charming atmosphere of a private mansion in the heart of Pigalle district, also recalls the world of George Sand. Numerous exhibitions about the great artistic figures of the middle of the 19th century. Concerts, readings, tea house in the spring and summer season.
