The collection of objects and works from this museum retraces great sporting moments, from the origins of sporting practices, in the 16th century, to the present day! It also features great men and women sporting champions.

Opened in 2008, the Musée national du Sport presents the sporting disciplines practised in France and elsewhere as well as sporting champions from the 18th century to the present.
