Establishment of a scientific and technical nature

Open in 1898, the galleries of Paleontology and comparative Anatomy present specimens of a high historical and scientific value like dinosaurs, mammoths, the skeleton of Louis XV's rhinoceros and of the Southern Right Whale, etc. The Gallery of Paleontology enables us to discover a wonderful collection of fossils of vertebrate and invertebrate animals, which retraces more than 600 million years of Living history.
