Current events : Le musée sera exceptionnellement fermé du 21 septembre au 6 octobre 2004 pour préparation d'exposition Museum DMF/RMN The museum is located in the last home and studio of the Romantic painter Eugène Delacroix (19th century) which opens on a nice small garden. Collection of paintings, drawings, watercolours, pastels and also letters and photos of the artist's circle (Baudelaire, T. Gautier, G. Sand, L. Riesener).
