Description :

All year round. Stunningly beautiful geographical locations, spectacular natural phenomena, thrills and chills: you’ll be gobsmacked, shaken and stirred at the Géode... This cinema offers both children and adults a wide selection of large-format films on a giant 1000 sq. m hemispheric screen.

2010: The Géode celebrates its 25th anniversary

Informations :

EPIC

Located in the heart of the "Parc de la Villette", the Géode is an exceptional cinema: the shining steel globe, 36m in diameter, reflects the Cité, the sky and the Villette site. The 400-seater auditorium is equipped with a 1,000 m² hemispheric screen and the Omnimax system projects images nine times larger than in traditional cinemas. It by far exceeds the maximum field of vision (May 1985 - Architect Adrien Fainsilber).
