Château de Malmaison : residence of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Empress Joséphine. Original 19th-century decor, variety of porcelain collections, paintings and furniture.
Château de Bois-Préau : collections evoking the daily life of the Emperor on St Helena, propaganda and Napoleonic legend.

October to March 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-5.15pm, wekend 10am-5.45pm. April to September: 10am-5.45pm, weekend: 10am-6.15pm. The Bois Préau chateau is closed for an unspecified length of time.

from October 1st to March 31st : 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-5.15pm,

Free visit except on Saturday and Sunday at the Château de Malmaison, where visits are guided. €4.50. €3

Guided tour :

Adults: €6 (1hr30) - €4 (1hr). Children: €8 (2hrs). Guided visits only on Saturday and Sunday at the Château de Malmaison.

Free :

Large families. Since 4 April 2009, free for -26s belonging to the European Union and for primary and secondary school teachers (except temporary exhibitions).
