The château de Maisons-Laffitte was built by François Mansart, the famous architect of the XVIIth century for René de Longueil, Louis XIV's Financial Secretary. The architecture of the château is one of the finest examples of French classical art.
During your tour of the château you will dscover the open staircase, the King's Apartment and his famous Chamber of Mirrors and the superb decorations of the dining room of the Count of Artois.
Racing Museum:
a permanent exhibition in the former kitchens of the château.
