His dream takes shape over 4 hectares, in his former Boulogne-Billancourt property. Japanese, English and French gardens, flowers and fruit trees form a poetic haven around the museum. Every year there is an exhibition drawing on his archives from around the world, a collection of 72,000 colour photographs and 180,000 metres of silent films, taken all over the world between 1909 and 1931.
