Informations :
It was at Houjarray that Jean Monnet conceived the European Community in 1950. In the leafy and warm setting of this house he was visited by the greatest men of the 20th century. His home with its thatched roof symbolizes the destiny of a man and the success of an idea : Europe. Video footage, documentation on the European Union, thematic exhibitions, talks and seminars on Europe (estimates given).
