Description :
Industrial buildings of the former bonded warehouses have undergone a daring architectural innovation – the addition of a light structure in wood, a grassy terrace for walkers and glass and metallic elements – for businesses, an events space, restaurants and the French fashion institute … all rolled into one !

Opening planned for beginning of 2012.
The industrial buildings, the Magasins Généraux, located on the Left Bank between the Gare d'Austerlitz and the Bibliothèque François Mitterand, have undergone an audacious architectural renovation. French and New Zealand architects Dominique Jakob and Brendan Macfarlane (who we thank for the restaurant at the Pompidou Centre) have been chosen to remodel it.
This new site will be home to the French fashion institute, an event space for events dedicated to fashion and design, as well as businesses.
