The Comédie-Française offers visits with a talk that retrace the history of the Comédie-Française through its collections. Not only can visitors access the public part of the theatre (vestibule, escalier d'honneur, foyer, galleries and hall), but they can also access the administrative part, the private galleries and the foyers (salle du Comité, foyer des artistes, foyer La Grange), decorated with a great number of works of art, busts and paintings, which display over three centuries of events and artistic creation, and constitute a part of the heritage collections of the Société des Comédiens Français (society of French actors).

The Comédie-Française offers primary school teachers, and secondary school teachers of students in collèges (aged 11 to 15) and in lycées (aged 15 to 18) the opportunity to discover Molière in his theatre. A walking tour with commentary by specialist guides, trained for the young public, takes students in the footsteps of Molière. From the Saint-Eustache Church where he was baptised to Rue de Richelieu where he died, you will discover the quartier des Halles where he lived, the quartier du Louvre where he became famous, and the Comédie-Française where he remained the « boss » and where actors, descendants of his troupe, continue to perform his plays. Departure between 9.30am and 10.30am. Duration: 1 hour 30 min. Price: €115.
