The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, below referred to as «the PCVB», is an association ruled by the French law of 1 July 1901 whose headquarters is at Rue des Pyramides N° 25, Paris 75001 – France

On the website www.parisinfo.com (afterwards the «Site») the PCVB offers a ticketing service for tourism services, in particular excursions, cruises, walks, entrance tickets for some museums or theme parks, packages including entrance tickets and transport passes, booklet of reductions.

The present general conditions are valid as from 21 September 2006. This edition cancels and replaces previous versions.

Article 1. Definitions and scope of application

1.1 Definitions

The definitions below have the same meaning whether they be used in the singular or plural.

The «User» denotes any user of the Site, who surfs, becomes acquainted with, books, orders and/or buys one or several Services offered on the Site.

«Partner» denotes all the Service providers.

«Service» denotes all service provision offered on the Site, notably the sale of transport, tour and restaurant services.

1.2 Scope of application

The present conditions of sale and use (afterwards the « General Conditions ») govern the offer and provision of the Services.

Orders for Services may only be placed by those Users who have firstly read and accepted all the General Conditions, by ticking the designated box. Unless these conditions are accepted, it is technically impossible for the order to be processed.

The General Conditions may be modified at any time, without advance notice, but will not apply to any orders for Services already accepted by the PCVB in the name and for the account of the Partner(s) concerned. It is therefore imperative that the User consults and accepts the General Conditions when placing an order, notably to be assured about the current terms.

Article 2. To order on the website www.parisinfo.com

2.1 Capacity – Use of the site

The Site’s function is to help the User to find travel- and tourism-related Services, and make the appropriate bookings. The User must be at least 18-years-old and be legally capable of entering into a contract with and using this Site in accordance with the General Conditions.

Except in the case of fraud, for which they must provide evidence, the User is financially responsible for their operations on the Site, notably for their use of their e-mail address and their password. They also guarantee the accuracy of the information concerning them provided on the Site.

Any fraudulent use of the Site or contravention of the General Conditions would prohibit the User from having access to the Services offered by the Partners or to other functionalities of the Site.

2.2 Placing and cancelling orders

The User may only order via the Site after having validated the present General Conditions as well as any eventual Specific Partner Conditions.

Confirmation of the order, which sets out basic details like the identification of the Service(s) ordered and the price, will be sent to the User, by e-mail within a maximum of two days following the order date.

All the conditions for cancellation, eventual corrections and/or reimbursement of orders are available on the Site prior to booking, and if necessary mentioned on the order confirmation or in the Specific Conditions.

Any request for cancellation or modification by the User will result in the latter being reimbursed the amount he/she has paid within a reasonable time period.

2.3 Payment and proof of purchase

The prices quoted on this site are in euros, and unless stated otherwise are inclusive of taxes.

Payment must be made at the time of booking or ordering, by banker’s card via the secure payment system on the Site.

The User should then print off the voucher, which they should present to the service provider to benefit from the services purchased: this will be sent by e-mail as soon as their bookings are made.

The User is therefore responsible for checking that they can print the voucher: in no way will the bank receipt alone be taken as proof of purchase.

Article 3. Protection of personal data

The information given by the User on the Site enables the processing and execution of their orders.

In accordance with article 32 of the «Loi Informatique et Libertés du 6 janvier 1978 » (French Data Processing and Civil Liberties Act) 6 January 1978 modified by the Act 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, the essential information for processing orders are indicated by an asterisk on the pages of the Site.

Other information requested, which is optional, or information relating to the interests of the User for offers which may be addressed to him is destined to gain a better knowledge of the User and improve the services offered to them.

Article 4. Responsibilities

The prices, established according to current economic conditions, as well as times, programmes and length of services are liable to change: prices include all the services indicated in the description of each service. Photos and illustrations. Every effort is made to provide photos and illustrations giving the User a glimpse of the Services offered.

Article 5. Applicable law

The General Conditions are subject to French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or their execution is the responsibility of the Tribunal de Paris (Paris Court).

Article 6. Intellectual property

The PCVB is the owner of all rights relating to intellectual property for all the elements appearing on the site.

It is consequently prohibited to reproduce, modify, transfer or use all or part of the site without the express and written authorization of the PCVB: however partial reproduction for strictly private means is allowed.

It is prohibited to resell products or use the site for commercial ends without the express and written authorization of the PCVB.
