Easter eggs, riddles and chocolate at the Centre des monuments nationaux

Easter Sunday treasure hunt and egg hunt

Monum_natThe “Centre des monuments nationaux” is a public institution which, in addition to concerning itself with preserving and making the most of France’s most famous monuments, puts on around 200 events a year designed for all kinds of visitors.

No fewer than 53 of the monuments run by the Centre des monuments nationaux will be hosting Easter Sunday events, with exciting treasure hunts in a variety of locations – chateaux, forts, archaeological sites and gardens.

This is an entertaining and unusual way for parents to get children aged 5-12 interested in historical monuments while learning about the meaning of Easter. Participants will have to look for clues and solve riddles to do with the history and architecture of these sites as well as the famous people who once lived in them.

Free entry for under-18s, under-26 citizens of the 27 EU countries and under-26 non-Europeans with a French residence permit.

Prices :
Free entry and participation at monuments and sites taking part in the event for those under 18 years of age.
